In my presentation, I started with a humorous anecdote that illustrated the development of AI and its impact on everyday life. Platforms like Spotify, which offer personalized experiences, have shown us how AI is influencing consumer behavior - not only in music, but also in the food industry. I explained how companies can use AI to both better understand consumer needs and find innovative solutions to industry challenges.

Another key topic I addressed was the question of why limitless growth is not a contradiction to limited resources. Particularly with regard to sustainability and resource consumption, I posed the question: is it even possible to grow infinitely on a finite planet? This question was on everyone's mind and I emphasized that it is our responsibility, both as a society and as a company, to develop solutions that are in harmony with nature and our limited resources.

One exciting aspect of the discussion was the role of AI as a mirror of society. AI is often perceived as discriminatory or racist, but it only reflects the data and prejudices it is fed. I took this as an opportunity to encourage the audience to question our own prejudices and think about how we can use AI responsibly to create a fairer and more sustainable future.

At the end of my presentation, I emphasized the importance of promoting optimism and innovation in today's world. AI offers us enormous potential if we use it correctly - especially when it comes to overcoming the challenges of the food industry and shaping a sustainable future.

The qualityaustria Food Forum was a wonderful opportunity for me to share my thoughts on the future of the food industry and the influence of AI on the development of this industry. It was an inspiring exchange in which I hope I was able to provide some valuable impetus to actively shape the future.
