Cisco Cybersecurity Summit 2023 - The Terminator is coming via Amazon!

When I took the stage, I was greeted by an enthusiastic audience made up of experts, industry pioneers and curious minds. The atmosphere was tense, but also full of anticipation, as participants were eager to learn about new ideas and gain valuable insights.

"Cybersecurity is no longer just a technical issue, it's a business and leadership issue."

Cisco Cybersecurity Summit 2023

We live in a new reality characterized by hybrid work models, a plethora of cloud environments, and an ever-growing number of cyber threats against our critical infrastructures, businesses, and organizations. This reality is complex and continues to provide new loopholes through which attackers can penetrate our enterprise infrastructures.

It is high time that we face this challenge. We need to be aware that security breaches are not just a risk, but a direct threat to our work, our data and ultimately our existence. They are like open windows in a storm, through which the storm can enter our house unhindered.

So it's time to close those windows. It's time to build an end-to-end security architecture that can withstand the most advanced threats. An architecture that is not just reactive, but proactive. An architecture that not only protects, but also defends.

Let's tackle this challenge together. Let's create a secure future for our companies and organizations. Because in this new reality, security is no longer a luxury, but a necessity.

Keynote: "Future in times of artificial intelligence".

In my gripping keynote: "The Future in the Age of Artificial Intelligence," delivered at Cisco Cybersecurity Summit 2023, we dove deep into the future of work. "In terms of structural change at work, the past 200 years have been a warm mailbox compared to what's on our doorstep."

Imagine crossing a concrete mixer truck with a Tesla. What do you get out of it? Small, flexible and autonomous vehicles that can supply a 3D printer with material around the clock. A house is built without human hands being involved. You see how industrial labor will disappear in the future.

Curiosity, personal responsibility and motivation are enormously important in the future world of work. "Being human is what's left when all inhuman work is digitized." You realize that these qualities will enable you to operate robots and find your way in a digitized working world.

When it comes to home office, you feel the need for trust and flexibility. You understand that as an entrepreneur, you can't expect your employees to adapt while you yourself keep everything the same. You feel called to drive change and inspire your employees.

In conclusion, I am happy to say that my participation as a keynote speaker at the Cisco Cybersecurity Summit 2023 was a memorable experience. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to share my ideas and perspectives, but also to be inspired by others. Events like this are living proof that together we can achieve great things and that our collective determination is a powerful driving force for innovation and progress.

#86 "Machine Awareness is the Future of AI" with Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ralf Otte from TH Ulm

Machine intelligence based on neural networks has puzzled us a bit lately. It looks quite as if these algorithms are intelligent. A pocket calculator for writing, so to speak. What if machines could not only solve problems, but also have consciousness, or is it already that far? Would what we do today then be machine torture? I talk to the author of "Machine Consciousness" Ralf Otte about the differences between human and machine consciousness.

Emergency assignment for Christoph Holz: Out of the shower directly into the train and 5h later I was able to inspire on the topic "How does the new world of work help against the shortage of skilled workers" on the stage of the 20th Backnanger Wirtschaftsgespräche. A good keynote speaker is quite like ChatGPT, he knows something about everything ;)
